The Thunder will host the Jazz at Chesapeake Energy Arena Oklahoma City OK for the first game of the series.

The Thunder are a very stubborn playoff team knowing the difference between the regular season and the postseason game atmosphere with everything included. Utah, on the other hand - are coming into the playoffs with 29-6 run from the regular season and they do remember how they ousted the Clippers in last season's first round playoff series 4-3 only to be swept 0-4 by the Warriors in the second round. They were underdogs throughout the whole series against the Clippers and yet managed to win the series after stealing the home advantage in the first game away winning 97-95 only to surrender that home team advantage and still go to 7 game series.

The Thunder are even more classic in the playoffs. After beating the Mavericks in 5 and the Spurs in 6 games, they took the Warriors the whole distance and losing in 7 after they led the Warriors by 3 games to 1. All that happened two seasons ago while the last season they lost to the Rockets in the first round 1-4.

Utah are a very talented team and will be playing with nothing to lose in this first game while the Okies will use all the experience of its players in this first game.

The season series ended 3-1 to OKC but were all played in 2017 and the Thunder winning three in a row in December and the Jazz winning the first game of the season.

Instead of explaining why avoid Utah in the first game - I will rather say these series will go far enough.
