Seems like a very easy pick. After all the Bruins are playing some unbelievable hockey getting the results that the paper refuses to absorb. The numbers are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games and 17-1-3 in 21 games since Dec. 18. On the other hand - there are the Rangers who dropped 7 of their last 10.
But, and this is a very big but, but, quiet a risky one. Yes. I wrote 3 buts in one sentence..... The Rangers are playing not as bad as a hockey as their numbers show and their last game against the stars in Dallas was not as bad losing 1-2.
Another but comes within the fact the Bruins are playing back to back.
And, the third, and the final but has to do with the Bruins decision to rest Rask and send Khudobin who is signed on only loss in those dream 6 weeks and is 0-2-2 against the Rangers in his 4 starts - against Lindquist who simply loves denying the Bruins with 27-12-2 record in his 41 starts against them.
In other words - the Bruins are doing everything they can to rescue the Rangers from their slump.
I know I am risking here pretty good record based on fading my Rangers - but, what is right is right even if it is wrong from time to time.
