So, what did we see in game one and have learned anything new about those two teams that can be labeled a playoff mode of the teams? Well, I personally learned that the Sixers came very well prepared for a game and the playoffs distributing their effort in a very efficient way: they actually needed only one quarter (the third) to make sure they win and all the rest they played cruising.
The numbers the Sixers put on the board were fantastic while the Heat played most of the game it's worse with Whiteside and Spoelstra obviously not being on the same page.
Can all that repeat and the Sixers play as good while the heat continue to struggle and not cash on advantage in absence of Embiid? Even if he shows up for a game tonight - the Heat should be able to utilize on a big man position.
So, does all this say the Heat is the play tonight and we better take the points?
May be so. But, I don't think these series will produce close down the wire games. I am convinced that all the Sixers will need in case of a need is to play two good quarters and they can still cover. 24-1 at home in 2018? Make it 25-1 and another cover for the Sixers.
