You all know by now the Giants are my team. Me, MK and few more of our posse have a permanent suite at the stadium and each Giants game is a celebration before, during and after. The private parking gets you rid of the worries and I can easily and quietly work and post my picks while watching the game. We even sometimes travel to away games. However, this season is nothing like other seasons. Glued to TV and being fed preprogrammed information without the ability to be in real touch with the stadium reality makes it a totally different experience of handicapping Giants games.
The interesting thing is that I'm not doing so bad with the Giants this season going 7-1 on my Giants picks. I can't explain why. Usually - with the Giants I'm very emotional and have a hard time picking against them. But, this season I'm less attached and being the disappointment they were since the beginning of the season - I found my pace with their failures. However - now they are on a success path and I have to deal with this new and long forgotten element in their conduct. Was their win in Seattle really a "win" or was it a """"win"""" of the kind we made carrier winning on? You know what I mean. Don't you?
Well, as much as I like to believe the Giants won because they were a superior team in that game - I have a feeling the Seahawks somehow were laid back more than usual in that contest and the Giants win served well Vegas and the books.
Today - I am making an emotional bet hoping the Giants and Joe judge are really into making the postseason and will defeat the Cardinals or at least cover the FG margin against the team that has activated Fitzgerald.
I expect the low scoring game and face to face combat kind of an effort from the Giants in this one.
The Cardinals are a done team losing 4 of 5 and the only win they posted was the one won with hail Nary against the Bills 32-30.
Let's go Giants!!!
