What you see is not a mathematically improbable NFL standings table, but merely the NFC East Division standings. Those two loser/losing teams are actually competing for the first place in the division. And, this is a division that has produced 13 Super Bowl champions, more than any other and is currently sporting only five combined wins.
Yes. Ridiculous, but - nevertheless - true.
The Giants are looking better and will cover.
